Calling all Makers for the fourth annual Poughkeepsie Mini Maker Faire, taking place on Saturday, November 18, from 10am to 4pm, at Poughkeepsie Day School!
We’re looking for established and emerging “makers” from the mid-Hudson Valley and beyond for this family-friendly celebration featuring rockets and robots, DIYscience and technology, urban farming and sustainability, alternative energy, bicycles, unique hand-made crafts, music and local food, and educational workshops and installations. The more interactive and hands-on, the better!

Attendees from near and far traveled to the 2016 Poughkeepsie Mini Maker Faire to celebrate what the mid-Hudson Valley is inventing, making and creating. Thank you to all of our Makers, Crafters, Farmers, Inventors, Hackers, Scientists and Artists of all ages who provided learning, play, spectacle and inspiration!
New to the Maker Faire this year will be a live demonstration of colonial era blacksmithing with Tom Hunt of Waterside Forge.

Faire goers are invited to contribute to a community-coiled storage jar with Jessica Longobardo of Art Centro and Mid Hudson Heritage Center.
