Sponsoring the fourth annual Poughkeepsie Mini Maker Faire is a great way for local businesses, media outlets, trade associations and non-profit groups to gain visibility alongside an exciting and enriching community and family-oriented event, while taking advantage of the considerable global branding that Maker Faires have been receiving since 2005. This year’s event will focus on Sustainability and Food Production, but we are looking for sponsors of every kind!
This event draws between 1,000 and 2,000 curious and creative attendees (mostly families!) from the counties of Columbia, Dutchess, Orange, Putnam and as far away as NYC and Connecticut. Click here to see demographics of U.S. Maker Faire attendees and here to view a short video on why companies are drawn to sponsorship of Flagship U.S. Faires (yes, these are larger and well established – but much of what is said rings true for Hudson Valley attendees). Partners and sponsors have included Art Mid-Hudson, Chronogram Magazine, Radio Woodstock, The Mid-Hudson Children’s Museum, The Poughkeepsie Library System, Digital Ocean – NYC, Dutchess County Regional Chamber of Commerce, Hudson Valley Economic Development Corporation/HV3D, Hudson Valley Parent Magazine, Squidwrench Hackerspace, Dandelion Energy and Vassar College.
There are two sponsorship levels with a range of associated benefits that will help promote your work, cause or organization:
Lead Sponsor: $1,000
Event Sponsor: $500
